There is no one closer in this world than family. Parents, brothers and sisters are the people who have been around us since childhood. They see all our first successes and failures, support us, motivate for success, ridicule, criticize, ironic, and help get rid of personality problems. In short, siblings are people you can rely on. We grow with them side by side, we absorb and experience the same situations, problems, we get joy from the same events. This, without a doubt, has a great influence on the formation of our personalities.
Since 1998, the International Day of Brothers and Sisters has been celebrated worldwide. This event happens on April 10 every year. At first the holiday appeared in the USA, where it is called Siblings Day. Later, mankind around the world accepted this day, and the tradition of celebrating it spread to distant India, China and other very remote parts of the world, capturing Europe and even Africa along the way. No wonder, because family unity is a very pleasant event, and once there is reason to meet again, exchange warm words, gifts and spend a pleasant time together - why not use it.
In different countries, the traditions and rituals that are used to celebrate the Day of brothers and sisters are different. Somewhere it is customary to give flowers, in other places - to tie ribbons on hands or to present with scarves. But, almost everywhere this day is known and celebrated by at least some citizens of the country. And with every city people who celebrate become more and more. I must say that the dates for celebrating this day are not the same, but since 1998, April 10th has been recognized as International Day of Sisters and Brothers, so the bulk of society celebrates this event on this day, in April.
So, on April 10, do not forget to meet or at least call your sister or brother, say warm words to them, and recall pleasant moments from childhood. Give spiritual to your loved ones - it will undoubtedly be pleasant for you too. Remember - kinship - will never replace any other. One blood, one genetic system, of course, is not a guarantee of mutual understanding, however, in a way, it obliges us to respect each other.
