If you ever dreamed of walking a tightrope under a circus dome, but starting to get nervous just thinking about it, slackline might suit you. Slackline is an increasingly popular practice of balancing art, which is walking along an elastic, stretched single line, sometimes only a few centimeters above the ground. Most people have an innate sense of balance, which allows them to exercise extreme dexterity when balancing, but to step on a sling is still scary. Remember how frightening it was to balance a bike without extra wheels? Now think how easy it really turned out. Walking on a sling requires only self-confidence and a little practice.
